Bright & Early- Our alarm, Amelia starts talking in her room and it's time to rise and shine. Jessie and Amelia read books and enjoy snuggling until Amelia starts asking for breakfast. We enjoy breakfasts of eggs, meat, and a little fruit together before Kevin leaves for work.

Off to Work- Amelia waves goodbye to Kevin from the front window for his 5 block commute to work. Jessie and Amelia rush out the door to CrossFit. After the workout Jessie usually calls Kevin and tells him about the workout and to ask about his morning.

Mid-Morning- Kevin treats patients at his chiropractic office, and visits with his dad, who is also a chiropractor in the same office. If the weather isn't to hot or cold, we will take Ace for a little walk around the neighborhood.

Lunch Time- Kevin goes to the CrossFit gym with a few friends during his lunch break and Amelia goes down for a nap which means it's housework and dinner prep for Jessie. Kevin goes back to work for the afternoon.

Late Afternoon- Jessie, with Amelia in the stroller and Ace on leash go for an afternoon walk around the neighborhood. We usually stop to talk to the neighbors, or let the kids/dogs play. If Kevin has walked to work, Jessie and the kids (Amelia and Ace) will walk down to his office for adjustments and walk home together.

Dinner-Time- Kevin is greeted at the door or in the yard by Ace and Amelia, who are excited to have him home for the night. Kevin plays with Amelia while Jessie finishes dinner and gets it on the table. We love good food, and we love having dinner together. Amelia's birthmom, Breanna jokes that all of our dinners start with onions and garlic, she is right!

Time Together- Amelia's face and hair have remnants of dinner, and her feet are dirty from playing outside, it's time for a bath. Bath, Books or a little 'Street' as Kevin likes to call Sesame Street, a sippy cup of milk then off to bed for the little bug.

Time to Unwind- We are both on the go all day long, so evening time for us is time to relax and watch tv. Even Ace climbs onto the couch and relaxes with us. When Breanna is visiting she can always talk Kevin into whipping up a batch of chocolate chip cookies while watching a show.

Off to Bed- Before bed, we both look online at our assigned workouts for the following day, and talk about the challenging aspects of it. Jessie updates a journal of sorts about all the new things that Amelia is doing and how she is growing. She also plans out the following day, writes her to-do list. She is a big list maker. There is something satisfying about crossing off all the things you have done in a day.
