Our first family photos were inspired by our friend Thomas who waterskied in a suit and tie. We wanted something totally different than other family photos and something that showed our personalities and interests too. We loved these photos so much, that we decided to use them as our profile photos when applying for adoption the first time.
We were so excited to have Amelia's newborn photos taken, and they did not disappoint. Amelia was such tiny little bug.
Six months after placement we celebrated becoming a forever family at the Logan LDS Temple.
Julie called us and asked us if she could use Amelia as a photo subject for a photo tutoring session she was doing with a fellow photographer. Of course we jumped at the opportunity to have 1 year photos of Amelia.
We loved our first photo shoot with Julie so much that we wanted something similar for our family photos and adoption application. They are better than we ever thought they could be!
Just for fun and for the photos we did a November waterski shoot at Pineview Reservoir in November...it was cold! We will not be doing November Waterskiing anytime soon again, at least in Utah. Kevin's photo ended up in Waterski Magazine.
