Kevin's chiropractic office is close to home, and Jessie is a hairdresser at an in-home salon that she works one day week from. We feel blessed to have careers that we enjoy and that give us the freedom to set our own schedules. One of the reasons that we both chose our specific careers was because of the flexibility that we could create. We both had supportive parents that came to all of our activities and sporting events. Kevin’s dad is also a chiropractor and they have always had a close relationship partly because his schedule allowed them to spend lots of quality time together. His dad took his family to the lake several times a week during the summer where they made many memories and had opportunities to bond as a family. His dad was sitting in the bleachers of every high school baseball game, and Jessie’s mom was always there to cheer her on at all of her track and swim meets.
