The Story of Us

The summer before our senior year of high school we met through mutual friends.  Really, Kevin was dating Jessie's best friend.  So Jessie dated Kevins best friend.  We hung out together and doubled all the time, but we both ended up single the end of our senior year.  After a year and a half of being friends, we decided that we really liked each other.   We dated until Kevin received his mission call and served an LDS mission to England.

We wrote letters, sent emails and care packages back and forth until Kevin had six months left.  At that point we decided we should see what happened when Kevin got home.  We met up the day after Kevin returned from his mission and picked up right where we left off.  We were engaged a few months later and married on a cold January day in 2005.

We have been married for nine years, during which time we have developed a solid relationship based on love, respect, and encouragement.
